Everyone's dream of owning a Sabyasachi outfit may come true as the Designer announces collaboration with fashion retailer H&M; collection to release on April 16, 2020
Celebrated Indian designer Sabyasachi, who has made his name not only in India but the entire World, has collaborated with multinational clothing-retail company H&M for its new range "Wanderlust". The collection, which will launch on April 16, 2020, marks the clothing brand's first global collaboration with the ace couturier.
"I am happy to announce the collaboration with H&M, as it gives us the opportunity to spread the Sabyasachi aesthetic to a wider audience in India and worldwide. Having done couture for the majority of my career, it is very exciting to bring that finesse of craft to 'ready-to-wear' and create whimsical and fluid silhouettes that bring relaxed sophistication to everyday life," Sabyasachi said. Taking a step away from his signature couture aesthetic, the maverick has played with prints for a resort-friendly line that also features a sari. Priced competitively, the designer aims to fulfil his dream of democratizing good design through this coming together of forces. Sequins and thread work will be replaced with the unmissable Bengal tiger—his preferred logo.
